Intro Days

Intro Days are 2-hour long sessions that function as an introduction to our youth program, the style of music we will be studying, and each instrument for which we offer private and group lessons. Prospective students and families will have an opportunity to try each instrument, see demonstrations by current students, and learn a bit about the history of bluegrass music and its current trends. This will help to make the "instrument decision" easier, and give students an idea of what they can expect if they get involved in our program. We may even try a jam session!

Registration info: E-mail info@mifolkmusic.com to register, include # of people attending and which date. Please sign up at least 10 days in advance of intro day. Cash or check accepted on or before day of class.

Tuition: $20/student or $35/family.

Cancellation policy: Must contact us directly via phone or e-mail to cancel your registration. If cancelled within 1 week of scheduled class, payment of 50% of tuition will be expected. In the event of illness, emergency, weather, or teacher cancellation, tuition will be refunded/waived.
